Effet Mère
Effet Mère is a product designer by training and an activist on legalizing hemp production in Tunisia. She is interested in the industrial and creative potential of hemp production. She has been experimenting with some design solutions and products for a couple of years ago.
Statement: “Hemp cultivation is part of an alter-globalization policy where the dimension of the natural world is taken into account when establishing public policies. … As a designer, I want to contribute through to new modes of governance and investment policy. We have reason to think that the designer is the social architect, who implements several sciences and tools to create and shape our common daily life. Today, it is no longer a question of simple branding, brand insertion, or a product on the market, the stakes are higher, especially our awareness of the correlations and impact of design on our environment natural and social.”
